The Belfast Knights 2023 Schedule is out, with the first game away to the newly promoted Westmeath Minotaurs in Mullingar. Followed by a home game at Malone RFC against the Shamrock Bowl runner ups, the Dublin Rebels.

Another successful day at the office for the flag team this weekend!
A rough start against the Antrim Jets placed the Knights at a 14-12 deficit at half time, despite an excellent pick-6 from captain Aaron Black. The team rallied to a 32-21 victory in the second half behind some excellent QB play from Danny Moll and a Jamie Totten interception to seal the deal.
The Knights took this momentum into the second game against the Belfast City Lions, scoring three consecutive touchdowns on the three opening drives, and holding the lead to finish the game with a score of 34-13.
The Knights are now 6-0 on the season and will be looking to lock up the Number 1 seed and guaranteed promotion as we return to Belfast on the 22nd October at Cherryvale playing fields.
Last Saturday saw another successful outing for the Knights Flag Football team. After some last minute changes, this blitz became a straight rematch from the week before, with our opponents being the Elks and Giants once again. Two hard fought battles and come from behind victory now see the Knights sitting at the top of the table at 4-0!

The Knights will now travel to the Giants for the next blitz where they will face the Antrim Jets and Belfast City Lions on Saturday 15th October.
The Belfast Knights hosted the Derry/Donegal Vipers and Belfast Trojans on Sunday 25th September at Malone RFC.
The first game was against the city rivals, Belfast Trojans. After the nerves settled the young Knights got into the game with a defence holding strong on multiple drives.
Building on the momentum from the earlier game the Belfast held the vipers to no score.
The Belfast Knights hosted the opening round of flag football fixtures in Division One North on Saturday 24th September at Malone RFC. Coming away with two hard fought victories, firstly in a very tight 33-32 win against the Causeway Giants. This was followed up with another close game against Ulster University Elks with the Knights coming away with a 24-19 victory.
The Knights will travel to Ulster University Elks for the next game week on 8th October where they will face the Belfast City Lions and the Antrim Jets.
We are looking for both experienced and inexperienced athletes wanting to try something new, to join the Belfast Knights roster for the 2023 season. All are welcome. Our first rookie camp session will take place at Malone RFC on Sunday 4th September from 10am to 12noon and will run every Sunday throughout September.
